Alert: E-Verify has resumed operations, here is what you need to know…
(This message applies to users utilizing E-Verify services. If your company is not using E-Verify through the Form I-9 Compliance system, this may be ignored. If you are unsure, please contact your Form I-9 Compliance system administrator for clarification.)
E-Verify services have been non-operational due to the partial government shutdown that began 12/22/2018. However, federal regulations still apply and E-Verify cases need to be submitted for each applicable employee.
If your company uses both Form I-9 and E-Verify services, then the software will automatically submit E-Verify cases for any archived, electronic Form I-9 that was completed during the shutdown period.
